distro selection

i want to use a new distro for my pc.and i don't really know what to select..
yoper or knoppel(greek version of knoppix).
any suggestions appreciated

I could recommend knoppix but won't since I had pretty rough problems with it, and I've never tried Yoper. But I've heard that Yoper is fast, so you could try out that one

i tried knoppel (greek version of knoppix) and i wasn't really satisfied because i ahd some problems with my modem and it was disconnecting after 2 minutes!although i download yoper to use with my second pc..

I saw you put slackware as your default distro. Why are you planning chage to other distro? If you wanna try a live CD, may I suggest Slax? It is based on slackware, easy to use, nice gui, and pretty small. The only flaw is that it doesn't gcc, you will have to make a module for it. Check more information on http://www.slax.org
