Already thought of it. That's one of the cool things about SVG; it's very easy to change colours. I didn't go ahead and do it yet though. I may even work on a different version for Kubuntu but I'll see how it goes with this one.
Also as much as I'd like it to, SVG doesn't seem to work... it's listed as a supported file format but the picture won't display on my desktop.
That's a pity but good to know. It does work in Gnome for what it's worth.

Alright...I came home from work and started working on the wallpaper. Not sure if I went too far but here it is in all its 1920x1200 glory (or gorey, you decide).

Hosted this time so you guys can see it up close.

Still not finished at all, need to clean a lot but just to give an idea of direction.

I gotta say, that's lookin' pretty sharp, Tom! It's very stark in some regards, but very pleasing to the eyes at the same time. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished work!

Thanks Jay, I think I'll work on making the Ibex a bit more abstract tomorrow. Feel free to throw any criticism you have my way too. This is all a learning experience for me

That softpedia image has me thinking about tornado or hurricane wallpaper.

I'm just an old coot BigTom but I like your fist image better.

I think you should have submitted it, it's an Awesome Wallpaper and I would not be surprised if it had won. Great work Dude!

Yeah I'm kinda kicking myself now, whether it won or not it would have been nice to see it reviewed at least

I think I'll just put it up on Gnome-Look at this stage.
