... using some flavour of GNU/Linux since a little more than a year now. (I like to xperiment a bit and try out diff. distros).
The more I learn about the *nix way of doing things, the more I understand how little I really DO know!!!

However, I still need WinXP as well for my (wannabe) music creation/production thingie-ma-jingie.
Maybe one day I'll be able to do it all in Linux.

you should try LMMS (linux multimedia studio). LMMS - Linux MultiMedia Studio . They just released a new version, and it supports most local Windows VST instruments (through a LADSPA plugin called VeSTige). LADSPA is the Unix open-source virtual instrument standard. I've only used the buggy-as-hell windows version, but it's pretty good.
