Oh well, just a random hello and wave to everyone. I'm a Linux newbie and I am looking forward to learning more shtuff to utilize my rather "not so user friendly" Suse 10.0 Gnome to the max. Mabuhay, from the Philippines.

    Hey, hey.

Here's where I am right now, escaping the Canadian winter:

And, all bragging rights aside (to everyone that just got 2ft of snow), if it looks like a farm in the middle of Maui - you're right! So far these forums have been pretty good to me. I made one stupid thread and I've already met one pretty cool (and smart) guy. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot more dumb questions so I plan on meeting a lot more of you

"The dumbest question is the one that isn't posed," is what my mum always says, so fire away, and we'll be happy to help you.

Welcome to the forums by the way.

Hello there. I'm from Bozeman, Montana, US. New to Linux. I installed Xubuntu on an old Dell Inspiron 4000 to see how it goes. It's going pretty well.

Well I'd say, tell us what you want to learn, but first do a google search on those subjects so we won't say RTFM or Google is your friend, and remember no question is too dumb to be posed!
