- 07-03-2008 #12Yeah, I live very close to Amsterdam. A bit closer to the sea.

West Texas Yahoo
Howdy from West Texas. I'm a 6'6" 275lb Redneck Biker with my own custom Harley shop (30'x25' Quonset Steel building). I own 6 Harleys and am the only Bike shop in this area. I run Dual boot Hardey/Mepis 7.0 on Panasonic Toughbook CF-48. I run dual boot Hardy/xp pro on Ibm M-41 Desktop. I run dual boot Mepis Anti X/windows 2000 on an Amrel RT 686 in bike shop. Self employed. Shattered heel bone from erecting new shop building. Recovery date should hopefully be by fall months. House is old Hospital from the 1950's with a 50 car parking lot where shop is erected. Like mixing it up and customizing motorcycles and my computers. Still learning linux and while I'm down, and turning away customers, while my foot heals, I'm test driving live distro's.

Thanks. Been down since May so missing $th of July run in Goldsmith this weekend. Brand new Trane 3 phase a/c unit is making recovery bearable. Ever get out to West Texas after the fall months, drop me a message, and we'll cruise to Balmorreh Nat'l park.

Welcome Anders, hope you enjoy your Linux journey

Some things are different on Linux, but that's not necessarily a bad thing
