Howdy from Spring Texas.
Hi, I am Victor. Not used to forums, the shy type, but this is one that I am looking forward to.
A little about me. I started in computers back in the early 60's. A hardware person, first in the US Navy and then with (aka Univac, Sperry Univac) for over 30 years, Yea, I'm an old foggie. Have worked with Unix a lot but most of my experience is hardware-firmware. I have just installed 64-bit Mandriva Powerpack 2009. Wish me luck. Still tryimg to get it to talk to my Linksys WUSB600N adapter.
Wow!! Not as shy as I thought I was.

hey, from Melbourne; Australia.
Been using linux since I was 16 (6 years ago... which makes me really old). Just been using it as an operating system, only been recent that I have strived to start creating and programming programs (thanks to the math course I am in).

Hi from the rough state of New Jersey.
Completely switched to Linux a few years ago when I got completely fed up with Windows. Happy since than. Never looked back.
