Linux server 2000
I would like to if it is still possible to just down load Linux server 2000 for free.
my reason for asking is that I will be attending school this fall, and the instructor as if I would download it for him.
My machine is using windows xp,( unsure of what version
if it is possible please tell me where I can find it. I am in the usa

U can donwload most distro from their official websites, or some linux topic websites.

Set everything up for you? AFAIK, no. That's why the charge $$$...for the work that they put into making it "Point and Click Easy" to setup servers and such.

but if you get a program like webmin, u can haev a gui to configure most of the servers u will need, quite handy and all GPL compliant

webmin and usermin are good, especially when you are doing web server service to other user.
