    Website Relaunched

I have redesigned my website and just like Mac OS X Panther:

    Usama Muneeb | Home

Check out if all links are working properly and all graphics. I face errors while viewing online. Only some pages. But my net is also terribly bad these days.

    Hello,

now your site works perfectly with my non-javascripted browser.
    (Using Firefox 2.0.0.15, 1024x768@32)

Looks nice, much better than what is commonly found on free hosters.

I came across no layout problems. The numbered column in "Where I am" could use 1 or 2 pixels more space on the left.

I'd really like to see larger text. It's tiny, I can barely read it. The colour is too alike to the background for easy reading. I can see the background tile.

    Usamamuneeb,
I viewed your site in Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Galeon 2..0.4, and Konquerer. Then I went to my brother's machine and viewed it from Firefox 2 in Windows, and finally Internet Exploder 6. They all displayed identically. A big plus in my book. I then went back to my linux machine and played around with the resolution. At the default resolution of 1680x1050, the background tiles into 4 asymmetrical segments. Not pretty. Reducing the resolution to 1024x768 gives a much more pleasant non-tiled look. You might want to think about adding scalability in the future.

I didn't find any obvious broken links. What I did find were a couple of places where a link was expected, but didn't exist, such as at the end of the last line on the home page. The line reads: "To overcome your suspicion, here's a me." I suspect you just haven't had time to do an editorial revision yet. The hypertext links all work well though. In terms of content (yes, I know you didn't ask, but...) I really like what you have hung on the frame so far. I viewed the Pakistani scenic locations links... very nice! Makes me want to vacation there. I guess the one big question I have is about the opening lines on the "About Linux" page. Wow! Harsh, my friend. So very harsh.

A great start Usamamuneeb. I believe you have the potential to generate a lot of traffic with that site. I wish you good luck.

Thanks for the nice comments. I sure will fix all problems. There aren't any frames though. Now I'm struggling with giving it some META. As far as the font is concerned, I myself can't read it unless I copy paste it somewhere and enlarge the font!
