What have I missed? Is anybody around here that I'd remember? It's been too long.

Hi Andy - there are still a few older members around, and a lot of new ones!

Welcome back, lakerdonald. Long time no see. Nothing personal on the de-modding. We did some cleanup a while back for folks who hadn't been on in a while.
As for things you might have missed, I'm getting married this weekend (please no congrats on this thread folks, I don't want to hijack it). There's still quite a few of us around.Registered Linux user #270181

Hey dude! Welcome back

IRC is pretty quiet these days, I'm usually on a few times a week but I'd say you could count the amount of visitors on one hand.

i've always been one to disregard requests, so i'm going to wish you congratulations on your nuptuals moe. also, no hard feelings on the mod thing, i'm sort of glad i'm not a mod, it means you guys are doing good housekeeping =)
and as for bigtomrodney, that's too bad to hear, irc was always pretty lively.

Hi lakerdonald, good to see you on the boards again! What we want to know is what have you been up to since last you were on?

Nice! Rocking the Rick! Well played Dan.
Man, let's see, I've graduated high school and been doing a lot of debate, which is a bit of a timesink (in addition to all the tennis I play). I've started writing for a music site (it's called the Silent Ballet, it's a bit of a niche magazine - mostly instrumental music), and I just started a music blog (the link to which is in my signature, but I don't want to start sounding like I'm spamming...
). Still using Gentoo, still using Linux, and still loving it - all that really matters! (well, except for my laptop, vista's on that, but that's simply because I need Vista for a couple apps my college runs)
