I like the overall design. Very clean. And nothing blows up when you touch it.
The bright colors hurt my eyes though. Especially the vast expanse of white that shows up on a widescreen. (Ouch!) But as you said; it will be primarily for
your consumption, so do what works best for you. I really like your choice of font. Very cool. If you were designing it as the type of site meant for other viewers, and the content were something that held my interest I'd probably make repeat visits. Especially if the color scheme were more eyeball-friendly.
