Yes... I finally did it... After using live CDs, USB sticks to boot different linux distros on my laptop, I decided to do a hard drive install. PCLinuxOS 2007 is now running on my laptop [Dell Inspiron B130] I have been tweaking it to get my programs running [I even compiled ChessDB from source and it is running fine... Though, I don't know how to create a link to it on my desktop ] This thing even has Frostwire! What prompted me to decide to use PCLinuxOS 2007 was Moe's review. I wasn't wrong... I have had problems installing Gnumeric using Synaptic and I don't want to install it from source...

Anyway... I stopped using Win XP because after patching it last time I couldn't connect to the internet anymore and I was looking for an excuse to settle for linux finally...
