OK Yahoo I Give Up!!!

Today I tried to access my Yahoo mail and discovered that Yahoo was trying to force me into looking at and dealing with all of the crap that they instituted today along with their ad yields. Not for me, Yahoo!!!

So my afternoon was hijacked as I re-routed all of my Yahoo mail subscriptions over to Gmail. When Microsoft finally gets yahoo it is going to find its email list almost as bare as Hotmail.

it's a good move. with gmail, all spam is sent to the spam folder. i gave up on yahoo because i kept getting spammed in my inbox. never ran into ad yields, though, but i switched a few years ago.

I looked at yahoo once but saw nothing of interest so didn't bother to sign up. Gmail has served me very well, though.

I had a Yahoo account for a while. But when I opened it up one day to discover over 200 spams, I knew it was time to find something else. Ended up with Gmail... I like it.

I use to use my Konqueror browser to look at my yahoo mail because instead of looking at one or two ads every time I clicked anything I got to cancel the ad permanently. Very few ads ever got through.

With the decline in usage of Hotmail and Yahoo I expect someone else to set up an easy email system not deluged with crude advertising. I am using My Way and Google email now.

I use gmail exclusively now.

There is only one thing that really gets to me about it, and that is that it won't work completely with Konqueror (it will with the user-switcher-agent, but I really don't want to go through the trouble).

I don't use Yahoo mail because I don't like even using Yahoo Search. Such clutter...and MSN/Windows Live is the same. It's like they've only gotten worse since the 90's. Maybe they could put a load of 8-bit animated gifs on there too and a background sound clip.

That's the real reason I only use Google; it's clutter-free.

I've never liked Yahoo... search was incapeable, the e-mail piss patheticly useless, the IM client lacking...

Nothing of value will be lost.

I have used Yahoo Mail since it was instituted. I like the latest change they made to the email. its simple and I can just send a message. I have a gmail account which will become my full account once Microsoft buys yahoo however.
