I like the looks of the second one best, but other than that I'm not sure which I'd choose.

I like what I see.
The cherrypal, I couldn't really see as a popular home solution with the limited hd size. However I could see it popular for business that have a computer for customers to use too look online.
ie. Some banks in Aus have a pc for the public to see their internet banking on in the branch.
The Eee Box looks pretty schmik. Actually to me it looks like a Wii with an Asus badge.
Assuming that it doesn't come with a keyboard and mouse and monitor. It's a nice cheap budget pc from what I can see.
I am impressed by the features for the price. Plenty of grunt and features.
+ wish list

Not bad. I would pass on the Shuttle, but the other two could serve a purpose. I especially like the form factor of the CherryPal.
I have always been fond of the VIA itx planars and cpu's. They make a nice package when mated to Jetway or Cappucino mini-itx cases. I've thought about getting a couple of these and a couple of these, and putting one of them together with SELinux or OpenBSD to make a compact little firewall, then using the other box as a revolving project pc.
