Hi all..

My names malcolm.
IM and IT hardware technician who works on the goldcoast australia.
I mainly deal with on a daily basis (WinNT/2000/XP) hardware upgrades and support
and also (vista) well unless i really have to.
Ive tried linux flavours before lol I think about 6 of them, I found version 3 xandros very impressive, but was awaiting alot more updates at the time.
Version 4 has some new motherboard issues booting for me so shelved it until more time to find problems.

Recently though after installing mandriva 2008 edition spring, i can happily say everything works and i can access finally my other networked computers in my house and via wirless out of the box, routers, adsl usb wirless and even my printer worked, very pleased and even the 3d desktop that blew me away. looking forward to getting and lookin under the hood of this new version. very pleased.
