    Average User Diary/ opinions

Just wanna run something by you all that's been brought up to me a couple of times in the past and recently.

Right, im an 'average' user, by my definition this means i am in no way a guru but i do like playing with stuff, looking at how it work and generally seeing how far i can poke something till it breaks my system. To this end i tend to try out basically any bit of software/ scripting/ trick that catches my eye whether common or totally random. Because of this and because of the general feedback ive gotten from the guys in my local LUG i thought it would a be interesting to get an 'average user opinion' on things. Not an in depth explanation of every facet of an application, just an general overview of someone that decides to try and break something (i dunno if this makes any sense).

So....since i had to nail down my games dev blog due to 3 million viagra spam posts a day, im going to blog my average user brain dumps here.

I'm saying this now so i can get some feedback from you all before i do anything. Basically, im going to say something and happily take positive and negative criticism from anyone that has an opinion, because i believe free software should also promote the free exchange of idea's no matter what the basis for those idea's and opinions are.

If there are any issues with this, or you think this is a good idea, tell me. If you things its good and i write something you like, blog me digg me paste it on the walls for others to see, i dont really care, i just enjoy discussing my experiences with things that ive found.

    cheers

    Stu (BPX) :P

hey mate, rather than having lots of seperate posts for your average user diary, it might be better having a seperate blog with a link to your site a la the techiemoe.com thread and set up your site so that its more spam proof (ie not allowing anonymous posting/comments etc)
that way all the concurrent posts will be more concise
You know, aliens are going to come to earth in 50 years and kill the hell out of us for DDoSing their networks with this SETI crap
