    Talking thanks..I have arrived

    thanks to all linux forum people that have helped... after hours of reading these forums, and trial and error ( ERROR haha ) I did a complete clean re-install from disk this morning of ubuntu 7.10, and after installing all upgrades...it works absolutely flawlessly...even flash-player install and worked right off. I would recomend linux to any one at this point. my original install did have a few bugs, but it was mostly my fault. bye bye windoes.
