Firefox 3 and Epiphany come in ZevenOS and runs on PII,126mb ram, and is a live cd packed to the gills at 688mb for i386. Even has realtek wireless driver out of the box for PCI wireless card with realtek chipset. You might want to check it out. I left a short testing update in the Coffee Lounge>Cool New Distro's.

Thanks! I've decided to take the shotgun approach, and have started burning this morning. I'll be putting PartedMagic on top of the stack, which will include Xubuntu and ZevenOS, along with one or two others. I sincerely appreciate the input. I talked with my bud last night, and he's really starting to warm up to the idea.

Beem to La Kiva club and chili cookoffs in the early 90's. Now its more off a Yuppie thingy and La Kiva changed owners and has gone downhill. Love the country area though and have gotten my bikes airborn on the road from Las Jietas to Presidio. Maken me itch to do it again as soon as foot is healed. Bathed in the dirty hotsprings there too.

Forgot to add that I am looking at Zeven0S to replace antix but I don;t speak German and their downloadable bugfixes (which I downloaded one and it was nice to see it is self install) are described in German and the only thing that I found that was a hassle was the menu items in Favorite Applications were labled in German like internet,media and such. Hoping somebody comes up with a more detailed description in English on this distro. Everything else in the distro comes up in English.
