Obesity ( 462 lbs at 15 years of age ) is a clear indication of a serious mental problem. The girl will continue to overeat until the underlying mental anguish is adequately dealt with. I doubt if anybody is ever going to her to reveal what is bothering her anytime soon.

I'm adding your blog to my bookmarks, Elija!!

Nice choice of colours, makes a change from the usual 'safe' colours a lot of people go for.

Also I like the brevity of the posts Too often a blog becomes a sort of therapy for the writer.

    I second all of that.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm relieved it's positive, so that's very encouraging.

The colours kind of evolved from what I had intended but I find them easier on my eyes than what I started with. Two bananas and a bookmark! That's made my day

GNU-Fan: It surely is, but I figure if it makes me angry, I'm not going to ignore it because it's local

Easy on the eyes. Looks good in widescreen. Not too 'busy'. No typos that I noticed. Little light on content right now, but that's as it should be on day one. Nice work, Elija!

I have learnt a few things during my first few days of having a blog.

    1. Spell checking your text is knot always good enough. Eye mean wood yew believe it?
    2. Copying and pasting text from Openoffice writer to an online editor in your site is almost as bad as copying and pasting from Microsoft Word!
