Okay, here it is... My first website...
I decided the only way to learn about websites, hosting and such was to just slog my way through the process. Last week at this time I knew next to nothing about web design, or Apache servers and such. After a week of very hard work, this is my first website that I'm also hosting myself...
MachoPowerWagon.com
It's not much, but it was my first attempt. I'll keep improving it though.
If nothing else, maybe y'all could help me with a few more hits.

Site looks nice, hope you find some other macho fans out there. How is the hosting effecting your overall internet speed at home? or is it? What version of Linux are you running Apache on?
I am interested to hear more about your project,
Nick

Sweet dude! I hadn't heard of those trucks before. The colour scheme really suits the trucks you're talking about. The fonts too

Nice one Dapper Dan, especially for a first site.. Worthy of these
I am in no way a "petrol head" but when I was a kid, I used to dream of owning a truck like that
If I could make one suggestion it would be to make your main navigation appear in the same place on every page. Your visitors will love you for it.If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Thanks nixweb.org! It's a highly specialised interst for sure but there are other places on the web dedicated to Machos. Like this one, and here's another.
I'm running the server from my business. I haven't noticed much of a hit to my other machines. When I do, that'll be the time to consider moving to a big hosting company I think. How is the hosting effecting your overall internet speed at home? or is it?
CRUX 2.4. Installing Apache was no problem. Getting it configured was the difficult part since I've never done it. Webmin is proving to be a valuable tool. What version of Linux are you running Apache on?
I'm still learning but if I can answer any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll answer them if I know...I am interested to hear more about your project.
Thanks, Big Tom! I think...
Thank you elija!
When I was younger, I was only interested in hot cars. Now I've developed a love for Dodge trucks. The Machos are so rare, I've never even seen one up close!am in no way a "petrol head" but when I was a kid, I used to dream of owning a truck like that.
That's exactly the kind of constructive suggestions I want. You are right! That would be a great improvement! I'll start working on it tonight! Thanks! If I could make one suggestion it would be to make your main navigation appear in the same place on every page. Your visitors will love you for it.

Many, many, years and quite a few personalities ago I used to go to New Hampshire with my upstairs neighbor for car and truck shows and races. There is something to be said about rear tires kicking up sand or burning rubber.
I'm an old man now but whenever I see Power vehicles my innards ache for some scenes of power vehicles in action. How about it, Dapper Dan!!.Linux registered user # 414321

The site looks good to me, but I haven't driven anything for years. Someone out there is probably going to love what you've created.
The last thing I drove that looked like those vehicles (I mean even vaguely) looked like this:
