Hello again everyone. It has been a couple of months. I've been doing some research and playing around with different distros. I was a big Slackware fan, but since I'm still new to the linux community I have found Ubuntu to be a lot easier and better for me. It's kind of plug and play like Windows, but it runs a whole lot better. I'm happy now. Unfortunately my wireless card is not compatible with linux. The cool thing is, a friend of mine gave me her old computer. I've got Ubuntu on hers and XP on mine so I'm going to network both together and in theory I should be able to surf the web in Ubuntu. I'm also going to get me me a kvm switch so I don't have to constantly switch keyboard mouse and monitor. It's going to be cool when I'm finished.

Had you tried ndiswrapper to get your Wireless card working? You can install ndiswrapper and ndis-gtk to get you started in installing the Windows driver.
