    Tv Tuner card

I am thinking of getting a HD-tv tuner card for my linux box, but I am not to sure what brands work well with Ubuntu Hardy.

I am pretty much just looking to use the box to record tv, at the start I will be using the antenna that comes with the card and then hopefully I will get a coax point in the room hooked up to the proper areial on the roof.

    Any suggestions would be great.

I have no experience with HD cards but I have used DVB cards and dongles. Any one that I have used has been afatech based. The drivers are open source and in the kernel (at least they are packaged with dvb) but the firmware needs to be downloaded seperately.

I guess like WiFi cards the best point to start out is to find a chipset that works well, maybe a little googling could help out with that.
