Ya I searched there... but didn't get... i got what ".bashrc" will do??? but i want full form for bash"rc"....

.bashrc is a hidden file called .bashrc, if a filename begins with a . it is hidden.

If I was being serious, I would suggest something like bash run commands as it is where the bash defaults are.

Now that we're on the subject, I have wondered the same thing many times.
I know .bashrc's purpose in life of course, but what does the 'rc' stand for?? I believe it's the same 'rc' as in the rc.d/ directories or rc.$service scripts in Slackware and alikes...
Anyone knows what 'rc' stands for?Can't tell an OS by it's GUI
