reviveing mosiac

I was looking around and found the original graphic web browser mosiac you can find the source code here ftp://ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu/Mosaic/Unix/source/ it is currently setup to make and compile in linux kernal version 1.2.4 i think because thats when mosiac stopped i would really like to see mosiac up and going agian and if any one helps you could have the chance to well write history if you really think about it

so are you talking about making a browser based of the latest source code for mosaic????

and updating parts of it like security, and compatibility with newer kernels and whatnot?

if so, im not a programmer but im in

Seems to me that those source files are more than 12 years old.
That means a lot of building/rebuilding to make it safe now for a real revival...
