Noob in the Scottish Highlands
Hi everyone
ex-windows support guy here, like previous, finally sick of microsoft and thrown it out the window. very impressed with linux (started with udubu and moved to suse because a nieghbour uses it at work).
got some serious beginner problems like how to install applications and get them to work. Using SUSE 11.
I know nothing at all, but got a couple of dummies books on order from amazon.
glad the site is here. hopefully wont be long before I can give something back.
