    DNA Computers

Just found this on howstuffworks: HowStuffWorks "How DNA Computers Will Work"

DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) molecules, the material our genes are made of, have the potential to perform calculations many times faster than the world's most powerful human-built computers. DNA might one day be integrated into a computer chip to create a so-called biochip that will push computers even faster. DNA molecules have already been harnessed to perform complex mathematical problems.

While still in their infancy, DNA computers will be capable of storing billions of times more data than your personal computer. In this article, you'll learn how scientists are using genetic material to create nano-computers that might take the place of silicon-based computers in the next decade.
Darn interesting, there's a lot to read about it.

Although DNA computers haven't overtaken silicon-based microprocessors, researchers have made some progress in using genetic code for computation. In 2003, Israeli scientists demonstrated a limited, but functioning, DNA computer. You can read more about it at National Geographic.

Awesome did you know university of columbia created a simple computer called MAYA-II(MAYA-II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

There's also quantum computers not really similar but also a way of alternative computing(Quantum computer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

DNA computing sounds interesting and very "Star Treky", but the problem with quantum computing of course is that no one is sure of the results

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

    Yes,

It's very interesting the way computers and processors specifically are going!

DNA and quantum are pretty cool, but i think the future of computing may be based on molecular transistor(less heat, less space, faster and cheaper)
