Going to your link got me thinking about another cool site using java for the presentation "The Powers of Ten". I think this one may have been posted here before, but I couldn't find the thread to link to. Anyway, I think it's still worth the view, especially if you haven't seen it before.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

That's pretty cool though... Rather reminds me of the fractal landscape generators that used to abound in the days of the Atari ST.

    Nice.

She seems to be more scared of my mouse cursor than I am of her, though.

    GNU-Fan,
Nice tagline! I viewed the whole thing, and I liked it. I applaud any celebrity who takes a stand for GNU/FOSS/Open-source.

Hmmm, lemme see... First the ASA call Apple on their inflated iPhone claims, then Stephen Fry mc's a birthday video for GNU. Could these be leading indicators of a backlash in Britain? I sure hope so.

off-topic: I saw the first of the Seinfeld/Vista commercials last night. I don't think I've ever seen the guy so tired-looking and unfunny as in this commercial. Hell, Gates (also in said commercial) almost looks better than Seinfeld. All I could think during the whole commercial was 'what a whore'. I think the guy would pimp himself out to anyone for the right numbers.

I agree, even though I have to admit that I hadn't known Mr. Fry before I saw him on GNU. I thought I would share the link because he does such an excellent job in explaining the FSF's motivation in perspicuous and conciliatory terms.
