I would have loved it if when they fired it up one of the scientists yelled

    OH MY GOD!!!!!

just to see the tabloid journo's (who have been portraying them like Bond super villains out to destroy the world) have heart attacks.

Does this mean I have a mean streak?

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

This is such an anti-climax. I've not seen a single black hole round our way after the machine was turned on. I feel kinda cheated. Anyone would think that to create a blackhole you'd need huge amounts of matter packed densely in to a small space and generating enough gravity to pull in even light waves, or summat.

Normally Mad Scientists don't reveal their Doomsday Device until the hero is captured.

But I'm wondering right now, would it not be the end of all irony if the 'on' switch of the machine said 'Self Destruct'??

    End of world?
lol... someone is always predicting the end of the world, and one of these days someone is going to be right.

    Probably not this time, though.

Personally, I'm not getting bent out of shape until the end of the Mayan calendar pops up on December 23, 2012. And of course, by "bent out of shape" I mean "have a party and wait to laugh at the Maya when nothing actually happens." If something does, oh well. I went out having fun.
