New to forums and linux
My name is MicHAeL and I am an IT student with all sorts of projects, just not enough brains to do them yet. Luckily I've found that people in the computers biz like to help each other.
I am attempting to host my own website. I wish host from an older compaq for I had two of them. Key word 'had'. My wife got rid of one of them while I was in the middle of swapping hard drives. So, I have a tower with the other hard drive in it and I can't get it to boot. Both ran xp but if I could get a linux distro on it I would be happy to rid myself of the microshit.
I have a fedora distro on disk 1 doesn't boot either.
As a side question can I get any suggestions on how to go about this whole hosting thing? I have no clue but I will persevere.
