Secure site to order distros?

I've been looking for a secure site to order a distro or two from. It would also be nice if I could get expedited shipping too. I've been searching for such a site until my eyes have begun to bleed. Every single site I've tried has ended up in a re-route to a non-secure penpal page. Not at all what I'm looking for.

Does anyone here know where I can find such a site?

I see an ample choice of Free Software distributions in book stores -- especially in those near universities.

Unfortunately, there are no universities, and naught but a single bookstore that carries anything remotely 'linux' where I live. (I've already looked) The thought of an online bookseller did occur, and I'm pursuing that. Just haven't found what I'm looking for, yet.

Ironically, I can get a shiny new terabyte drive delivered to my door in less than 24 hours, but can't get a copy of Fedora 9. I've never had this much trouble trying to obtain a distro before.

Did you Google for Linux CDs?

Note that most sites will not take you to their secure page until you actually start to put your personal data into the order information boxes.

That's good advice, Ozar. I just can't seem to find a site where the checkout is secure. I get to the page where they ask for the card number and it's not a secure page. This has been the problem since I started. I feel like I woke up in Bizzaro-World this morning. Nothing around me works as it should.

They are all showing up on secure pages for me, once I get to the page you refer to.

Maybe there's something wrong with your browser.

I think so.

I've been dealing with the aftermath of a rootkit incursion. That's why the new drive and Fedora 9 (natively supports SELinux).

Guess I'll go see if I get a secure site from my brother's rig. Thanks for the feedback. Now at least I know it's not the site.

You might want to look into OSDisk.com. They are linked from DistroWatch, and the moment you get to the checkout, it goes secure.

"Thanks. I've ordered a couple DVDs from EasyLinuxCD's though. It was the first one that presented a secure page. I wanted the DVD/'Zine combo from linuxidentity.com, but they only sell through brick & mortar resellers.
