Tell you what I did - plus can you help me

I'm a complete newbie but I picked up a Dell GX-150 which is a PIII 1GHz with 512MB RAM, 20GB Hard Disk and built in Networking for £50 then I downloaded the latest Debian (disks 1, 2 and 3) and it works brilliantly straight out of the box. Only problem is I need to get my Internet working on this in Linux (am dual booting so have Win 2000 for internet). I am using the USB mobile internet modem provided by 3 which is a Huawei E220. I have seen several postings on the web about how to do it but as a newbie I am totally confused by most of them - does anyone know step by step exactly what I need to do?

    Hi, mancman! Welcome to LinuxForums!

You may want to start a thread in the Debian section of the forums. It'll attract more attention there. But when you do, include the ouput of
    Code:
    lspci
    See you there!
