I've got a diesel guzzling Ford F250 truck that I very rarely drive, and a small Toyota Tacoma truck that gets pretty good gas mileage.

Yeah, 4WD looks like a good option for where you live.

My Ford F250 is 4WD but here in Central Texas I've only been able to make good use of that function once in the last four years.

Here's my baby. Bought it brand new in '99 and I'm about to hit 120,000 miles. It's been all over the US. I love my truck!

    Nice!

I would love to have had an extended cab, but I needed a full bed. I have been remodeling my house, and needed it for carrying full sheets of plywood and drywall. Not to mention the numerous trips to the dump.

With an extended cab and full size bed, it wouldn't fit in the garage, and would be an even bigger pain to park elsewhere.

Hi Artesia! Nice truck! If I didn't know better I'd swear that picture was taken in upstate South Carolina judging from the trees and landscape. Looks just like it does here!

    My daily vehicle!
You don't even want to see my personal truck, It's old (1975) and very ugly, but it runs like a champ! The wifey drives a gas sipping Ford Focus, which gets driven the most these days.

Nice set of wheels there Mike! I especially like the air conditioning!

I like the older trucks better too. Most will run forever, you don't really have to be concerned about "looks" or "style" and the taxes are low! I traded in a 2005 Hemi Ram 4x4 for the one above!

I know what you mean about gas mileage. Very important these days, and right now, especially important in the Southeast since we're having critical fuel shortages. So much so, I'm actually considering changing my truck over to Propane!

My wife drives a 2006 4 cylinder Dodge Caravan. Great for hauling kids around and great gas mileage.
