Howdy!
Howdy.
My name's Coburn64. I'm a australian linux user at times, and I have a fair bit of linux knowledge. I'm also a high school student.
I'm the casual gamer, as I have a Nintendo DS, Wii and GameCube that I play whenever I get the chance.
I don't mind to use Linux, the only thing that I don't like is that it doesn't run Windows apps out-of-the-box, and you have to download and install wine for it to run windows apps. But that's no biggie.
Well, I just wanted to say hello, and I guess I'll see you guys (and girls) around the forums.

Welcome to the forums Coburn64!

I know it's not always possible, but I always try to find Linux alternatives for Windows programs. I only use Wine as a last resort -- at the moment I don't have it installed on any of my Linux machines!
There's a good list of linux replacements for common windows software in the sticky post in the newbie forum.
Hope you enjoy your time here.Registered Linux user #388328 || Registered LFS user #15880
