    Hello and Welcome!

Wine may be what you're looking for. But you might want to check the Wine DataBase fo rinfo in what may run well, and what may run like crap!

Crossover generally has better support for Windows programs. For example, I can run CD roms for my kids that I borrow from the library with Crossover, but they won't work with Wine. However, Crossover demands more work, and hence carries a small fee. If I remember right, it's about $40, or thereabouts.
