    problems with libc/elf/dl-fini.c

    Hi, I am trying to excute some routines and I get the following error:

    Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-fini.c: 195: _dl_fini: Assertion `ns != 0 || i == nloaded' failed!

    My pc has absoft as the compiler software. I would like to know is libc is a library of the C++ software or it is not?
    Thanks a lot
    Maria

    Yeah libc is one of the many libraries for c.
    If your running something like ubuntu you may need to install build-essential to have this installed to compile.

    What distro are you using?

    Good Day

    I just joined the party. I am new in Linux but already enchanted . Once in a while a problem arises That is why I joined this forum. Th best way to learn is on a trial basis. Even Einstein did it.
    I am convinced that this forum is the best publicity to encourage people to embrace Linux and say good day to Mr Gates.
