    Talking Greetings!!

    Hi Folks!

I'm new in the forum and just came by to say hi and introduce myself.
I was born in Argentina, I'm currently 28 years old and working at citi as a system analyst and developer. I've been using Linux for a while though it's not my main operating system. There's basicaly only one reason for that: I'm a hardcore gamer! The day all last game flavors come both windows and Linux-ready be all sure I'll throw MS out of the window! :P

Well, that's all for now. I have a lot of questions to ask and lots of forums to visit.. so see you round!

    Yours,
    Emilio

    Welcome to the forums shandrio!!

It's true that gamers have a hard time in Linux, but there's always the option of dual booting Windows and Linux so you have the best of both worlds!

Hope to see you around here

    Welcome Shandrio!

Have you looked into any free Linux games? Alien Arena comes to mind. That is pretty cool IMO.

    shandrio,
    Welcome to Linuxforums!

Do you still live in Argentina? I have some very good friends from Uruguay (Montevideo) who've shared stories of the clubs in Buenos Aires. They made it sound like a magical place.

That's exactly what I do. Recently I messed up with the linux partition, though... obviously from windows! Linux would never do that. Anyway... I restored it last time, I can do it again.

Yes, I still live here. Both countries have very "active" night life.. Argentina in deed is "magical". Every foreigner or turist I know that came here once, wants to come back again. I'd recommend anyone who has the time and money to trave to "exotic" places to come and visit my beautifull country. Here's just a GLANCE
