Just an Annoyance
Lately I have been keeping up with shows i cant really watch on TV on sites like Hulu etc. for the most part really successful. Lately i came across a show and this is a first for that site that required windows or mac. Its an ABC Show. Just bugs me how the internet is supposed to be open but is limited to windows and mac when both mac and linux share about the same market share. Every few months or so i come across a site that is like this. Silverlight is starting take over some sites instead of flash and moonlight isn't sufficient enough for the site to be OK with letting you use the site. Just an annoyance!

That *is* annoying. MS... Always trying to force their insecure technology on the computing public. Such nice folks. *ba-arf!*
On a semi-related note, hackademix.net did a report recently on an exploit that uses flash, silverlight, and a few other similar apps to pull off anything from ddos attacks to wiping a drive. Not very reassuring news. They recommended the use of firefox w/ noscript to counter it until a better solution is found.
