Hi all
I have been using Linux for about five years. I currently use Windows XP, Fedora 6 and Debian. My main interests are in programming and have an interest in a variety of languages including Erlang, Tcl, Lisp and Python to mention a few. All the languages being open source and run on different operating systems. For a living I work with IT but on Windows based systems.
More recently I have interested my wife into annimations using Blender. This has become a joint venture. Blender is quite amazing. We have quite a way to go before we can appreciate its power.
I built the PCs myself. They are Pentium 3 equivalents. A bit old by todays technolgy, but sufficient for what is currently asked of them.
Lastly, I live in the Scottish Highlands in the UK. I am sure this is quite a distance from most of you, but look forward to participating via the forum. I have a lot to learn and also keen to pass on the small amount of knowledge I have.

I'd like to see that area too, I've only seen Oxfordshire. I'm sure it'll come in the future.
I live in the south of the Netherlands.
