Gnome crashing
The other week I tried KDE4 and so I then started using Gnome to get used to it on Fedora 8, as I hated KDE4. BUT..
Gnome keeps crashing is anybody else having the same fun as I am.
I have started this thread in the coffee lounge as I just want comments at the moment, as in is it just Fedora or across the range, or does yours crash when using or doing certain things. Then I can target where to look for the problem.
Thanks for your comments

You might have a bad desktop config file somewhere. You could try renaming your /home/username/.gnome folder and see if that helps, If not, then rename it back and try something else.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

MikeTbob is right on the money with this, scrapping config files are a great way to purge any bad config. I like to think of it as the remove/reinstall of the Windows world

In the case of Gnome there are four directories. You can rename them instead of removing them just in case you want to try them later or you find another root cause:- .gnome
- .gnome2
- .gnome2_private
- .gnome_private
