CMYK for Gimp 2.6 ... on Windows!

Hello Folks,
I am sure my question is not a difficult challenge for you guys...

I have Gimp 2.6 working on Windows Vista (sorry about that).
I want to be able to use the CMYK thing to be able to creatework for printing.
Unfortunately I only have RGB ... the gimp manual says I can have CMYK available ... but I do not know which button to press to make it happen.

I have tried to get onto the GUG but for some weird reason I am not allowed to (I have my firewall and all other security turned off);

Please can someone gently put me in the right direction?
