    Fascinated

    Hi, thanks for the invitation to the Coffee Lounge.

    It's only taken me four days to get here! First day was spent working out what was wrong with an old computer I had (after changing everything except the nic, discovered the nic was at fault!), second day how to make a cd to install Kubuntu (didn't work until I downloaded recommended software to burn iso disc), third day how to get on the internet (new network card wasn't seated properly) and tonight trying to get graphics card properly installed (could only get 800 x 600 screen size with old one).

    Tonight's problem, how to become administrator...... groan....

    I have to say though, Linux is a whole new adventure and I'm enjoying every minute of the struggle..... ))
