All the Hoopla about Clickjacking Lately
In another forum I belong to clickjacking was brought up. Mainly a Windows user forum. I read about how it can screw with all the browsers, Linux included. Being a Biker Linux using type dude, and only using Windows for Engine tuneup software programs (TTS based software), I aint to hip on what clickjacking means. So I did a little reading and research, searched this forum to see if this had already been covered.
From what I have read and understand
1. Do protect firefox and flash ya got to download Adobe 10 Flash player and install as it has the patches.
Or disable script and java on your browser which blows the big one in my book.
2. My other understanding is that it don't matter in Linux or even Windows because yeah, they can tell if you visited paypal or you bank or email but thats it, They can't get past your password protection, so why worry.
3. Webcams were mentioned as far as being able to access them but I don't run that stuff so I don't care about that.
Being a Biker instead of a programmer or whatever, I just want to know if my understanding of this latest fearmongering is legit , that my understanding of what this stuff is and how it works is correct.
You guys have always been the top dudes in my book and I respect your opinions/info/comments on this immensely. Happy TrailsLinux Registered User # 475019

I'm probably at least slightly off base on this, but I'm not to worried about it. Like you, I don't use webcams, and I've had strong passwords for the last few years. I keep my apps updated with only official downloads and patches. Personally, I'm not to worried about clickjacking.

I do not respond to Private Messages asking for Linux help. Please, keep it on the public boards.

Thanks jay. I try not to worry about my rigs, just figured I might not be understanding how this voodoo works. My Wife on the other hand is a die hard Windows user. I just tip toe around her when she is online and hope for the best.
