May we post another forum link?

Let's say I found a solution of same problem in other Linux forum. May I post the link to that forum? Is that against rules? Since some forums forbid this. Although at the here's Forum Rules doesn't state it but I think it is better to ask.... hehe

It's not expressly forbidden, but is frowned upon. Consider it as bad etiquette, but if the only way to cure someones ills is to be rude to those within earshot, so be it.

We think most of our members are aware of who this site's competitors are. The thing is we also feel that the friendliness and helpfulness of the people here set us apart, so we dont actually fear we might lose members to other forums.

And anyway, competition is good - it's what keeps us strong.
