I need help finding a close to perfect phone.

I am looking for a phone that connects to AT&T’s network, have a nice large touch screen, give me the ability to view my divx or xvid videos, a full web browser I can use with any WIFI network I choose to log onto. I don’t want an Apple iPhone.

    Thanks

    (Sorry.. had to be said)
Is the Instinct on ATT's network? A guy at school has one and likes it a lot.

The other main option that I could think of is the G1.

I was gonna suggest the G1 actually, but I thought it was on Verizon or something else...

this phone looks perfect, but it is not made for at&t... it is a T mobile phone... could you still use this with at&t?

That's the thing --I don't know. 99% of the time, if a certain phone company 'owns' the phone, they're not going to want others using it.

It looks like the phone is sold unlocked. You can call T-Mobile store to find out. The only problem is that you will not be able to use AT&T data plan their 3G network. It uses a frequency the phone does not support.

The ultimate test I guess would be to place your SIM card in it and see how it works on your AT&T network.

It works fine in Europe on many of their carriers.
