I tried your link for Reeves county for grins TBOB. No Luck there. Tried Ector county where Odessa (75 miles east one way) is.It aint worth the drive at $2.49 a gallon.

Man, you live in the boonies! I'm kinda surprised that area has running water and electricity!
It must take forever for your gas prices to normalize with the state avg.

Actually, I used to live in the boonies. This area is about as close as anybody can get me to civilization anymore.

We just paid $1.94 at our local Sam's today. Most other stations are running $1.99-2.09

I been seeing an average for the last couple days of $2.14 - $2.25

just enter your zip and you find the recent prices in your area

I tried Gas Buddy over a few months in '05. Not bad, but overall I found that if I paid attention during the course of my day (I drive at least 100 miles every workday) I could always match or beat it. That's not an indictment, as it's still a useful tool.

You could be the gas buddy, price spotter for your area!
I submit a gas price here and there, but I'm probably not a high ranking member or anything. I drive a lot during the day too, as a Delivery driver but I'm way to busy to be paying attention to the gas prices.
