    the asus laptop with its small screen . linux pre installed thats ..ok !..but wait...does it have printer support ...same as if i connect a printer on windoze.....it prints ok ..can asus do this with its version of linux or do we have to go thro cups localhost .. lpd..hplip lpr ........etc..etc..just to make a hard copy ..?

    I have just done an experiment.

    My eeePC is now running Xubuntu and I plugged my MFD in and it all worked. I can't comment on the Xandros version that comes with it, although it does share XUbuntus Debian roots.

    I guess it depends on if your printer is supported.
