Hello
New User to this Forum.
I teach high schoolers about Linux. Am a reluctant M$ user but am trying as much as possible to stay completely Linux especially at school. Lately I have been trying to move away from Novell as well (as a file server) in favor of linux. Been trying to use sftpd in place of Novell using fedora boxes as file servers but been having some problems there especially in Open Office and therefore have been searching for some solutions. This brings me here to do more searching. Thought I would join because the place looks a good bit friendly.
Been a Linux user since about RedHat V5.2. We use redhat/fedora and BSD for our internet services in our department and have done so since the beginning of our web presence several years ago now. We dabble in SUSE because of our relationship with Novell as a Novell Technical Institute.
I'm looking forward to the release of fedora 10. Hope the sftp problem is solved in it but if it isn't then I'll still be searching for a cure. I am going to start looking around this site soon as I get done with this email.
Well, enough for now,
netmastr
