    That screenshot's a bit too tiny to see clearly, but I'm not really a big fan of trying to make Linux look like Windows. Personally, I'd rather Linux was *nothing* like Windows

    Wow, I never saw a Windows Icon On a Kde Desktop before.It looks OK. All that matters is whats under the hood.

    Neither i'm intrested in windows. but it have a classic look that many normal desktop users like to see on desktop (similarity to windows)

    lol its 19" widescreen screenshot just click on it..

    I agree with smolloy, the last thing I want is for my desktop to look like Windows.
    But I give you an E for Effort, I think it's pretty cool.

    Well, Im doing it because its on my
    50 Weird things to do in life list

    Had BSOD many times 12 years ago on Windows 98.
    and isnt there is a flying toaster screensaver in linux too?

    I used to have the BSOD as screen saver, until I found a packet containing a wide variety of different equivalents from various operating systems. I particularly liked the ASCII art dog that said 'Your system ate a Sparc!'

    Anyway, I noticed you don't have a virus scanner running O_o
    And if it was KDE you where using, I could script you a pop up that comes up every so many hours saying you have unused icons on your desktop
    Can't tell an OS by it's GUI
