I really like well designed things. I thought some LinuxForum members might like to view these buildings.

Just because I like to read and like libraries, I'll have to make a point to visit #6 at some time... besides which, KC is supposed to have some of the best BBQ in the world!
And I think I like #14... That's an interesting little place to call home.

Thanks, CL. I really enjoyed that. So many outstanding designs. The Solar Furnace really stuck out for me. Under the wrong conditions, that thing could get damned uncomfortable. We've got a couple new "world's tallest" entries coming up soon. One is in Dubai, and the other one I think is in China. One will be the tallest upon completion, but will be eclipsed a year or so later by the second one.
One I'm surprised didn't make the list was the UFO house in Signal Mtn, TN. I used to drive past that everyday in my treks up and down the mountain. I guess maybe it's not flashy enough, or unique enough. UFO houses have become much more common since this one was built.

Really cool post/site - had fun looking at them and thinking sometimes "no way that's real", only to see another angle
