A lady with a brain! I married one of those, 35 year ago.
She is a PhD physicist working at a national laboratory smashing protons into anti-protons to see what stuff is made of. Our grand kids are about your age, and smart also. Joseph is a budding engineer, and Linux user. I gave him my old laptop last year - a nice Dell D600 w/ lots of memory, hi-res display, and 2 drives - one with XP and one with Ubuntu. He used the XP disc until he spilled a soda on the computer and "let the smoke out". Fortunately, it only fried the drive. He switched to the Linux drive, and has been a happy camper ever since, using it to design and control his radio/computer controlled model helicopters and airplanes. Amber is starting medical/science high school also this year. Her goal is to become a plastic surgeon.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!

63 years old. Won't retire until 67, if then. Present economy is a disaster for those of us who plan to retire. I envy you younger folks who grew up using computers. You can run circles around us old folks. The personal computer wasn't around until I was in my 40's. But I took to it like a duck to water.

According to the numbers, there are nineteen under-twenties here! So there should be 19 members of the Linux Kids social network! So come on, you other Linux kids.
