I've been running KDE 4.2.3 for the last 4 or 5 days now and that's the longest I've ever been able to stick with any KDE4 release.

It's definitely getting better but it still has lots of issues that need fixing (especially plasma oriented) and it still feels short of features and is lacking in certain very important KDE4 native applications.

Just my own experience with it, though.

If they don't hurry up and get some missing feature in Amarok, they'll lose more users.......including me! I loved the Amarok 1.x series, then they forced this unfinished Amarok 2.x on us, it's just ridiculous. First they give us a broken desktop (KDE 4.0) then they stiff us with an unfinished Amarok, it's enough to make a Linux user want to try Windows again!lol (joking(
I do like KDE-4.2.3 a lot, but like ozar said, it's still got some problems here and there.

Yep, they've definitely lost some users if our polls are in any way accurate with what is going on elsewhere in the world of Linux. Just take a look at the Gnome vs KDE votes from the same poll in 2007 as compared to our current poll:

http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/cof...ll-2007-a.html

They might eventually win them back, but it's going to take some time.
